Just a quick update to let you all know that the surgery has been scheduled for Tues Nov 24th, 11:30 PST. The surgery is at Stanford, in the Cancer center at 875 Blake Wilbur. The plan is to be there 1 or 2 nights depending on how the surgery/recovery goes but I should be home by Thanksgiving. I'm sure I will be very thankful for a lot of things this year!
The E-girls and John have generously put together a coverage plan for the surgery timeframe - Tues thru Saturday - so it looks like I'm covered for rides/food/nightwatch for that period. Tom will have cat feeding duty and Dan will be posting updates here and on Facebook.
Locals - you are welcome to stop by and say hi. Since I can't drive for a few weeks I might be hitting you up for rides and food once I know my appointment schedule! Thanks in advance!

Hi Julie
If I don't talk to you before Tuesday, I wish you all of the best (words sound pretty lame here) with the procedure. I was looking for "how to help Julie" sign up sheet and alas couldn't find anything like this. So I will just keep checking FB and your blog and such to see what I can do to help and I might just pop up and say hello at Stanford or at your place when you are recovering. I also might give you a call later today.
