And now a jaunt on the C-Train. I have commandeered my old travel blog to write about my experience with Breast Cancer. I have been diagnosed with Stage 3 Infiltrating Lobular Carcinoma and writing about my experience is strangely therapeutic. The relatively rare (~10%) Lobular cancer is trickier than the much more common (70-80%) ductal cancer. My new favorite saying is: "I *REALLY* like walking on TOP of the planet!" ... especially in my frog's feet!

.......And now a bit about Radiation. The game has changed and I'm not sure I know all the rules...
- 0) Answers to some of the commonly asked questions:
- 1) I will be in daily radiation therapy through @ the end of February. Yes, Daily, well daily means Monday through Friday - every day.
- 2) In general, side effects are fatigue and local burning of the skin. The fatigue is unpredictable and deep. I already sleep a lot.
- 3) Apparently, side effects are cumulative and delayed... meaning the worst of it will occur @ 2 weeks after radiation ends.
- 4) I'm scheduled to return to work @ April 5
